Boat Rental Policies**

$400 Deposit required.
Major credit card required.
Minimum age is 21 for the person responsible for the
rental.
No pets allowed.
7% Sales tax not included in rates.
Rates do not include cost of fuel or other expenses such as optional
insurance or tube rental
Boats are reserved for full days only. All other
rates are first-come, first-served only.
$20 per hour for any hours past return time with approval of management.
$45/hour rate with 2 hour minimum if schedule permits
All rentals are discounted by 20% on weekdays and/or consecutive
days *(except holidays).
Full day rentals are from 9 to 6 on weekends and 9 to 5 on weekdays.
Half day rental times will vary depending on boat availability. Half day or hourly rate rentals will be charged a full day rate plus $50 if
late return results in the cancellation of the next scheduled rental.
Pontoons may stay out overnight if rental is for 2 consecutive days or
more. $100 extra for over night one day rentals.
Cancellation
Reservations must be canceled within 48 hours of rental date to avoid
charges
Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice or no shows will be charged the
full rental rate.*
* Boats may be used at a later date based on boat availability, but no
reservations will be accepted.
* Charges may be refunded if the boats can be rented to other customers on
standby.
Bad Weather
If bad weather is expected for the entire day or determined to be unsafe
for rentals a full refund will be given (Rain or Wind). If weather turns
bad during the day and is expected to remain bad, the rate will be pro-rated
for the hours the boat was used. No refunds will be given due to bad
weather after 5 PM on full day rentals. Mississippi is known for afternoon
thunderstorms that last a short period and no refund will be given if the
condition is short. Main Harbor Store Management will have the discretion to
determine weather conditions for refund purposes.
Damages
All equipment must be returned with the boat in good condition.
Renters are responsible for any damage other than normal wear and tear of
said boat and property.
Lessee will pay the full amount of any damages to the boat.
